SpaCastle !
Yesterday a bunch of friends and I took a day off from the "hustle and bustle" of the city to head to experience a place we had wanted to visit for months. Spa Castle is located an hour outside of Manhattan (take the 7 train until it ends) in Flushing, Queens and is a unique combination of European and Asian styles of spas. Their complex is five stories tall, over 100,000 square feet in size, features 8 different saunas, and 4 pools. They also have a gym, a restaurant, massage rooms, and a number of other amenities. I have to say that I'm not really a spa person but this was definitely a place worth checking out if you're looking for something entirely different in New York and have a spare day.

A few of the different sauna chambers, each was a different temperature usually between 100 and 185 degrees Fahrenheit. There was even a "cold sauna" that was kept around 60 degrees Fahrenheit.
Yes, they even had a nap room filled with giant reclining chairs each with their own TV.

toy story 3
I saw TS3 last night and all I can say is "wow". By the end of the movie, I was nearly in tears from being both happy and sad at the same time. I have to say this was the best installment of the Toy Story trilogy. Pixar couldn't have done a better job with the plot and ending. I was impressed.
